Over the years concerned individuals and groups have been warning us that we are depleting our energy reserves at a very alarming rate. Our reserves of fossil fuels and other traditional energy sources are finite and are essentially nonrenewable. Our energy consumption has been growing rapidly.
The consequences are unavoidable. In the not so distant future all of our energy resources will be gone.
Conservation is only a short term solution at best. We must start utilizing alternative forms of energy now. By using renewable energy sources we can plan on having power to the year 2000 and beyond.
